Turn on Save Passwords in Internet Explorer

Note: This is only recommended if your computer is in a secure area, you totally trust everyone that has access to it and you have a secure username and password set up to access anything at all on your computer.

In Internet Explorer:

  1. Select Internet Options from Tools Menu
  2. Click the Content tab
  3. Click the Settings Button under Auto-complete (this opens a new window)
  4. Under "User names and password on forms", Check the box next to "Prompt me to save passwords"
(Personally, I like ALL of the boxes on this screen checked)
